Steph West served as a reporter for Fox Sports Ohio covering the Columbus Blue Jackets and NHL. She eventually was invited to serve as a guest correspondent for Blue Jackets Live, the CBJ’s pre-game show airing on local and national television, to discuss her online coverage of the team. She served in this capacity over five seasons and several episodes. The show was/is televised as part of the game broadcast. The only viewable segment currently available is located here.
West earned the 2011 Best Sports Writer in the state of Ohio, Second Place award from the Ohio Society of Professional Journalists for her coverage of the team for The Other Paper. She also earned the 2010 Best Sports Writing first place award from American Community Newspapers for her coverage of the CBJ and the MLS’s Columbus Crew, also for The Other Paper.
